The Faculty Student Association is pleased to announce that Viking Child Care Center has been re-accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for another five years!
The administration and teaching staff in the center worked for many months to prepare for our site visit that occurred on Monday Jan. 27. While we weren’t expecting a decision until possibly May, we were thrilled to receive notification last week that our accreditation has been renewed until May 1, 2025.
The child care center is a tremendous benefit for our students, as well as faculty/staff members on campus and we are proud to have the distinction of a NAEYC accredited center.
